Walking the Walk

All The Witch Stuff > Witch 101

There is a purpose to this video being up front and center. Walking the walk of the Witch, of the Wiccan, of the Asatru and yes, even the Judeo-Christian.

It ain't easy. We can adopt the label we choose but that doesn't make that label correct. Why wear the label at all? Are you so bereft of an identity that this is the first and foremost objective on your spiritual journey?

Let it go. Civilize your soul. You are who you are - you are who you decide to make yourself to be.

Witchcraft is a practice, it isn't a religion. It isn't even a spirituality. It is a PRACTICE.

Perhaps it is time to get rid of the labels completely. Learn to walk the walk of ethics, of personal responsibility, of empathy, of pathos. Call yourself whatever you like but make sure that you aren't just talking the talk, make sure you are walking the walk.

If your brand name Pagan label has traditions? Then follow them. If your Judeo-Christian faith has a dogma - then learn it and live by it, every day, not just Sunday or holidays.

For example, if you choose to practice witchcraft? Too bad, so sad but your cannot also be a Christian. You are simply talking the talk. Sitting on the fence with a foot in both worlds, a coward's way. Take your leap of faith, decide what you are and be it.

Newbies? Prepare yourselves, the road is crowded with Pagans who can talk you a storm but are nothing more than weak drizzles from a leaky faucet.

If you need a path? Then, by all means, follow that path but live up to the tradition. Too many traditions have been watered down to meanlinglessness by those who choose to simply talk and not walk.
