Basic Craft Etiquette

As consecrated objects easily absorb energy, do not touch such items without the owner’s permission, such as ritual tools, jewellery, etc.

A ritual bath (or shower) should be taken before entering a Circle/ritual. That is, bathe with intent to purify.

A Circle/ritual is a religious rite, therefore participants should conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

The High Priestess of the Circle has ultimate authority and may have disrespectful or disruptive participants removed.

Please do not enter a Circle if drunk, stoned, or if you are carrying strong negative emotions such as anger, fear, cynicism, jealousy or resentment. If you are feeling distressed or aggravated even after a ritual bathing, let the High Priestess or High Priest know before entering the Circle - maybe they can help.

After the Circle is cast, be aware of its boundaries and remain within until the ritual is over. `Breaking' the Circle may disrupt the whole Working.

A Circle is for genuine participants only, not observers.

Once the rite begins, focus your attention & energy on the ceremony so that the full benefits of the Working can be achieved through full concentration of all participants. Taking a ritual seriously doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable and fun. There is a time for relaxing and socializing after the wine and cakes.

Shoes and watches should be removed before entering the Circle.

Sad this has to be added: turn your cell phone OFF and leave it outside of circle.
